Skinner's Chasing the Wind and Skinner's Bull Terriers

Minnesota Visit
8 - 10, 2008

Well, God had some plans for me on this visit back home!  Michael had a long weekend so he brought me up to mom & dad's.  Then he went back to Missouri to work.  We were going to stay for a couple weeks at the most and ended up staying for 5 WEEKS!!!

My brother, Robby, and sister-in-law, Sonya's, baby boy, Teal'c, was born way to early.  They needed some helping hands with their older boys, ages 4, 2 & 1.

I got the honor of being asked to sing on the Vineyard Worship Team for one weekend of church!  I used to do it all of the time and it was so fun to be able to do it again!  It really draws me closer to God when I am able to use and share my gifts with others like He wants me to!

Shortly before Teal'c was born we found out I was pregnant!  Almost 3 weeks later, I got really sick and started bleeding.  Auntie Gwynne took me to St.Mary's hospital in Duluth, they did an ultrasound, we saw baby's heart beat, 120 beats a minute!  They said I was about 6 weeks along and that everything looked totally normal.  About 4 hours later I was in such extreme pain that Gwynne brought me back to the hospital, this time we went to Two Harbors.  That is where I lost the baby who we call "Baby Love".  We buried the baby a few days later under a beautiful tree that looks like it is praising God.

Then I had a terribly infected big toenail and had to have surgery on that, so I couldn't drive myself back to Missouri.

My sister, Jessica, and brother-in-law, Nick are building their new house.  They needed lots of help and I did my best by doing meals and delivering it right to them - and their helpers- at times, so they could keep working - winter is coming!

So dad took a vacation day and drove me back to my husband!

WOW

Some pictures of some crazy spiders that made their home on mom & dad's house!

Photo's of my sister Jessica's house being built.  Her and her husband Nick are building right next door to mom & dads house!

Last, but not least, all the other pix from our visit!  Ok well it was more like we moved in - I don't think you are considered to be guests after 7 days!
